program includes all domestic and international alcoholic drinks in any of
the bars, restaurants Riu Tequila is just 3 km from the small town of Playa del Carmen, with its restaurants, shops, bars and nightlife. The convenient location makes the island of Cozumel and the archaeological sites of the Yucatan easily accessible. The Riu Tequila shares the same beach as The Riu Yucatan, which is just 400 meters away (5 minutes walking distance). The resort does provide shuttle service to the beach, where guests will find free towels and sun umbrellas. The beautiful gardens surround a fresh water pool area of 1,500 square meters, with an artificial beach, a separate pool for children, and jacuzzi. There are also free towels, loungers and sun umbrellas. The championship-level golf course was carved right out of the jungle by the Robert Von Hagge Associates.
